Cemetery Policies
Many cemeteries have changed their policies to accept holders such as these so that caretakers need not remove them for mowing, saving them time and money. The Holders are constructed of heavy metal and powder coated to be very durable and maintain their appearance for years to come.
Side Mount Vase and Pot Holders
The Side Mount Holders are manufactured in two sizes. The six inch Holders will fit monuments that are between 6 and 7 inches thick. The eight inch holder will fit the monuments from 8 to 9 inches thick. They also come with either a four or a six inch ring. The four inch ring is for a matching four inch vase and the six inch ring is for a six inch pot. A stabilizing plate keeps the holder securely in position so it cannot tip or fall over. The holders are mounted to the monument by tightening two small bolts, which are included, to the side of the monument. Plastic caps cover the ends of the bolts to prevent damage to the stone. The holders and vases are also available in two different colors, powder coated (baked on) antique copper and antique silver. We do not sell the pots because you can buy them much cheaper locally. The Side Mount Holders are recommended for upright monuments.
Base Mount Vase and Pot Holders
The Base Mount Holders are also very simple and easy to install just by stepping the lower angle into the ground at the edge of the flat marker. They are available with either a four or a six inch ring. The four inch ring is for a matching four inch vase and the six inch ring is for a six inch pot. They also come in two colors, powder coated (baked on) antique copper and antique silver. We do not sell the pots because you can buy them much cheaper locally. The Base Mount Holders are recommended for flat markers.
Base Mount (Reverse Ring) Vase and Pot Holders
The Base Mount (Reverse Ring) Vase and Pot Holders are designed mostly for slant markers so that the vase or pot is away from the stone, and is usually placed on one side or the other, or both sides. The Vase Holder is available in two colors, antique copper or antique silver. The Pot Holder is available in either forest green or brown.
Flower Vases
We offer vases that match the color of the 4 inch vase holders, either antique copper or antique silver. The vases are four inches in diameter at the top and are seven inches tall. The vases are metal and are painted with a baked on paint called powder-coating. The pot holder with the six inch ring is for a six inch pot. You can purchase the pots locally much cheaper than we could offer them to you.
Installation of Side Mount Flower Vase and Pot Holders
The Side Mount Vase and Pot Holders attach to the monuments by simply tightening the two small stainless steel bolts against the monument. Plastic caps cover the end of the bolts to prevent damage to the monument. Installation usually takes less than a minute. To keep flowers from blowing away in the wind, simply bend the stem end of the artificial flowers to about 90 degrees two inches from the end, put them in the vase or pot and fill the vase or pot with either dirt or small rock. In cold climates, we suggest removing the vases in winter to prevent them from filling with water and freezing.
Installation of Base Mount Vase and Pot Holders
Installation of the Base Mount Holder is done simply by stepping the bottom angle into the ground next to the marker. The Base Mount is usually used for flat markers while the Base Mount (Reverse Ring) is usually used for slant markers so the vase or pot is away from the stone.
Installation of Wall Mount Pot Holders
Installation of the Wall Mount Pot Holder is done by securing the holder to a wall or post with the two screws provided. These are available in either brown or forest green.
